I am an American Imressionist. It is my goal to bring you the beauty and tranquility of the landscape. Places where children can play and explore without fear. Places where we can relax and refresh our souls. With this in mind, I am constantly searching for these special locations that meet the above criteria. A restful, quiet spot that will form the basis for a painting. After photographing and sketching the location, I return to my studio, where I attempt to convey my feeling for what I have expereinced by applying oil to canvas.
On many summer weekends, Ruth can be found painting in the Sculpture Garden adjacent to The Gallery.
